The hightrust.id digital identity wallet is now one of the identification methods for Suomi.fi electronic services. With the digital wallet, you can also create more secure digital signatures. Using the digital wallet is free and absolutely secure. It is a legal electronic identification token.

You can also use the hightrust.id digital wallet for identification in other services that use suomi.fi identification methods.

Why use the hightrust.id digital wallet?
The digital identity wallet is completely separate from bank identifiers, eliminating the risk of your bank identifiers falling into the hands of criminals through bank frauds or scam websites.

Approved by the National Cyber Security Centre of the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency, hightrust.it is a strong identification technology. Digital wallet identification always offers the highest level of assurance. Based on the audit performed by KPMG, the hightrust.id digital wallet offers the highest Level of Assurance (LoA High) of the three levels of assurance in accordance with the EU’s eIDAS criteria.

The digital signatures of documents, contracts, or documents signed with the hightrust.id digital wallet are legally binding and irrefutable throughout the EU and they have the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
The digital wallet identity comes from the Digital and Population Data Services Agency’s Population Information System, making it absolutely authentic, up-to-date, and legal.

What information does the mobile wallet contain and is it secure?
When the information of the ID card issued by the police is transferred to the digital wallet, the card chip’s digital certificates maintained by the Digital and Population Data Services Agency used for identification and digital signatures are also transferred to the phone. The method is just as secure but much easier to use than using a physical ID card with a card reader linked to a computer.
