What’s more, if you change your mobile device or if it is damaged or lost, you can easily revoke the hightrust.id digital wallet on your old device and reactivate it on your new device using the citizen certificate of your ID card. Everything happens digitally and remotely during the 5-year validity of your ID card; there is no need for you to visit a government office. For the citizens of a country with vast distances, this is a great relief!

In its simplest form, strong electronic identification takes place when you use the camera of your smart device to take a picture of a QR code on your computer screen while the front camera simultaneously recognizes your face.
